Today sucked. Plain and simple.
10 hour work day of direct telephone support.
"blah blah blah this is Amy how may I help you?"
one call.. after the other... after the other....
pleasant friendly and helpful. ugh.

Only a break for taking Kai out to pee

I was going to try and get in a workout but I didn't get home until 6:45 and needed to make dinner... long story short..
one pot of absolutely DELIGHTFUL green (vegetarian) chili and a glass of $20 chardonnay later I'm well fed and relaxed
and damn...
Chateau St. Jean, 2001 Belle Terre Vinyards is positively the most delicious chardonnay I've ever had.
I tasted this stuff out in California at the vinyard. Brought a bottle home and drank it with X BF over Labor Day weekend. Its hard to find on the east coast, but Kappys must have obtained a few cases of it and I FOUND a bottle! I was going to save it for some Special Occasion (TM) but you know.... I don't ever have any special occasions where I could share a nice chardonnay.

Dammit. It's fucking Valentines Day and I'm alone. I'm going to drink some good wine and eat some really yummy food
(but OW I wasn't quite careful enough with the habaneros... even tho I wore gloves I still managed to burn myself)

Now it's off to snuggle into the sofa and knit for a while, then ... sleep.
Gotta do another 10 hour day tomorrow, and for the next 2 weeks at least.
