Lay back and think of England

More rain coming this weekend.
One of my coworkers referred to this as "Seattle suicide weather"
Rain is good for the garden, however I would eventually like to be able to sit outside and enjoy the garden.
I'm happy that Rich is coming up to visit again
We're supposed to go visit friends of his on Saturday evening, who live down in Warwick, RI

- Note to self: Wear plastic gloves when applying self-tanner or risk obtaining "oompaloompa hands"

- Last night's episode of CSI: Wow, I guess I really have problems with the concept of being buried alive and being eaten by fire ants. Thanks Quentin (Tarrantino)! You're the best!!

- There are a lot of mind boggling stupid people in the world.

- I frequently struggle with the separation of what is "my shit" and what isn't.
I need to remember to own what is mine, deal with it, and don't worry about what isn't.

- Turkey and brie cheese on french bread with lettuce & tomato is very tasty.

- Star Wars Episode III - Hayden Christiansen still can't act his way out of a paper bag. Natalie Portman was far too skinny to be a convincing pregnant woman (pregnant with TWINS? Yeah, maybe in a galaxy far far away .. and she didn't even get swolen ankles!) Still, it was stunning. Dark, sad, action packed, visually beautiful, and a great way to spend 2 hours in a movie theater.

- I really need to write my sister a letter and tell her what's up with me.
